We're launching the LIV Creator Kit (LCK), Virtual Cameras for your Meta Quest and PCVR apps! The closed access invite starts today for select developers but join our waitlist to be the first to know when it's widely available.
Virtual cameras give you the control to capture your gaming moments that meet your creative vision. Your players can then share your apps on other platforms, like TikTok or Instagram.
Developers can add a simple prefab camera to their app to get quickly started or use the APIs to build out a custom integration.
Check out which games will be launching soon with LCK.
Gorilla Tag Integration
We've partnered with Another Axiom to build a custom integration of LCK letting players take their camera with them wherever they are in the game. Quest and Steam players will have the camera in app, no more mods or 3rd party software needed. Be on the look out for when this gets launched in the coming days!
Who else is integrating LCK?
Digigods, Penguin Paradise, Skelly, and Scary Baboon will be adding the LCK SDK and will be using the prefab camera or connecting their own custom camera to the LCK APIs.
Here’s what’s in our SDK
- The LCK SDK v1 is in closed access, and currently supports Unity
- Includes a prefab camera that you can quickly integrate and get started, including modes for a selfie camera, first person view, and 3rd person
- The APIs to use with your own camera model
- A single package for both Quest and PCVR games
- Configurable camera settings to control fps, resolution, stabilization, and FoV controls
- Quest and PC recordings are saved to the device, no more needing a 3rd party recording software
- We’ve figured out all the encoding/decoding licensing issues so that you don’t have to worry about it or pay all the high licensing fees
