The Support Specialist knows the LIV product like the back of their hand. They're easily able to answer any user or developer questions about our tools, and they know all the "gotchas" that users commonly experience. In addition to being LIV experts, they also love playing VR games and are familiar with many different titles, especially those that are compatible with LIV. Support Specialists spend their time answering user questions, testing out new LIV titles, and helping as many people as possible become creators with LIV.
This is a role a lot of people @ LIV have had to fill in the past, from founders to engineers. We are known to be responsive on Discord, and for being patient with the inevitable frustrations that come up when setting up VR, and streaming, for the first time.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of familiarity with LIV products and be a LIV subject matter expert
- Answer user support questions (primarily through Zendesk)
- Create new Zendesk help articles and other resources for users
- Pass along user feedback and common user problems to other team members at LIV
- Help to test various games that are working to integrate the LIV SDK
- Maintain a high level of familiarity with various VR gaming titles
Ownership
- Zendesk (Average ticket wait time, number of new articles)
- Reddit Support
- Testing LIV integrations inside games
