Are you ready to play a pivotal role in the world’s leading VR trailer house? As a Trailer Editor & VFX Artist at LIV Productions, you’ll be part of a team creating ground-breaking VR trailers for the largest VR platforms and games.
The ideal candidate is a passionate and creative person, with the hunger to learn and grow their skills in all aspects of VR capture and video editing. You have excellent attention to detail, an eye for composition, and motivation to tackle any task no matter how big or small.
Preference given to candidates in Brisbane, Australia but the role is remote and open to all.
Responsibilities
- Edit engaging and polished trailers in collaboration with the Productions team
- Capture VR gameplay and experiences in first and third person, motion capture, and game engine capture.
- Perform VFX compositing to create realistic mixed reality gameplay footage
- Create dynamic motion graphics, titles and transitions
- Ensure all content meets brand and quality standards
- (If based near Brisbane, Australia) – Assist with real-world production of mixed reality trailers, including on-set support during filming.
What you bring
- Experience in virtual reality, particularly in capturing VR video content
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Creative flair and taste; with the ability to execute your vision through ideation, building, production, review and delivery
- A keen eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual engagement.
- An outward seeking, proactive personality; a passion for creating, and a love for film & TV, games and pop culture
- Resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to get things done even when the steps are unclear
